Due to Addison Florendo's convincing prowess *grinz* , Arnel and Moi decided to meet my classmates in XU Comp Sci -98 at CDO last December 30, 2006. Didn't regret going at all for I certainly had a blast! Especially our conversations regarding Jessie's lovelife and age (hee hee hee!)

My son got sick, our office is being divided into two provincial office, christmas parties, my lolo died... these things has kept me busy for the past few weeks... and bhoy was it draining!

Two weeks ago we found out that my son has Primary Complex, we have to religiously let him take three kinds of medicine for 9 months. It is not only draining us emotionally but financially...

A week after we took him to the hospital for he vomits a lot, we feared he will be dehyrdrated... and he was diagnosed to have UTI... we stayed in the hospital for almost 4 days where he was not able to join his School Christmas party and we were not able to join also the District D Christmas party. Though I still went to Miguel's school christmas party to do my assignment then went back to the hospital...

Right this very moment, I'm helping my father with his reassignment to be the second PARO of Bukidnon... it's a long story how it happened but anyway he will be going tomorow to DAR Regional office to attend the Execom meeting and present his proposal for the Southern Bukidnon organizational and financial plan. I'm preparing the presentation...

Just last week, my 89 year-old lolo died (Father's side). We will be attending the burial on December 22 in Davao. Meaning, we won't be able to attend our office Christmas party.

Meaning, we can't also attend the wedding of my officemate on Saturday, December 23, 2006 where me and Arnel is supposed to be the Cord Sponsor.

Anyway, everything is settled already, I've given my assignment for our Christmas party and has already informed my officemate we won't be able to attend her wedding.

Lastly... the SICHS Grand Reunion on December 26 and 27! Lapit na talaga! Haaaay.......

Life is beautiful so live it!
Habz celebrated his 20+ something bday celebration last December 1, 2006.
In 2 months time, Habz the cuzin of Arnel managed to gain and meet friends here in Malaybalay who came and celebrated his birthday. He finally got the culture of gatherings here , lechon in every celebration hehehehe... uh-huh it's normal in our place to have lechon in every gathering coz' its not expensive and you don't have to make such effort in preparing the food. The lechon on the pix only cost Php1,900... at ang dami nang makakain! hehehhehe... my husband even found it shocking during his first few years stay here in our place coz in every party we attended lechon is always present! hehehehe... here's a glimpse of the celebration!

A COMPLAINT RESPONDED BY SONY PHILIPPINES

While watching the ultimate fight of Paquiao and Morales last Sunday an idea hit me to blog about our controversial T.V stand which is really not that nice and not even expensive but memorable for Arnel and me hehehehehe. Anyway, it was my husbands plight.

We bought a Sony Wega t.v last October 6 at Imperial Plaza Valencia. My husband who's so meticulous about little details before buying anything has already researched in the internet that there's a promo of Sony regarding a free t.v stand when buying a Sony Wega T.V. by just adding up Php100.00. Anyway, to make the long story short, we end up going home without any T.V stand with the Imperial saying they don't have that kind of promo for that Month despite my husband's protest and objection why we can't have one when flyer's and advertisements says there is.

Arnel who's still not settled with the Imperial's explanation kasi talagang feeling niya that time nadaya siya and it was me who told him to just leave things alone and stop complaining, decided to e-mail Sony Phillipines central office through their website and got what he wanted after a week of communcation with them! Sony Phillipines called up Arnel and told him to get the T.V rack at Imperial Plaza for free and that they already made a Memorandum against the said company and that they were sorry for the incovenience and that actions against the Imperial Plaza are already taken.

We really had a big laugh after getting the T.V rack coz' it's not that special really hehehehehehe... eh kung tinaggap pa nila yung offer ni Arnel na babayaran sila ng Php 500.00 basta makauwi lang kami na may T.V rack eh di may kita na sana sila nun! Until now it's still a wonder for us why the Imperial Plaza won't give that promo to us but this may be an opportunity to simply say thank you to Sony Philippines for their immediate action to my husband's complaint. :)

We went to Dagumba-an Maramag last November 1 to visit my late Lolo and Cuzins at the cemetery. My baby bhoy had a blast running around the ricefields while I enjoyed climbing the guavas and the cacao's at my Lola's farm. It's nice to go back to a place where electricity is beyond reach, wala ring signal sa cellphone ma Smart or ma-globe kaya it was totally an escape from civilization (hehehehe). DARLA Candle Making Activity

The Department of Agrarian Reform Ladies Association had a Skills Equipping Activity last October 20, 2006. The officers, and that includes me as the secretary decided to introduce candle making and reflexology to the Ladies of Dar Bukidnon. We were supposed to hire speakers for the said activity but unfortunately due to limited funds , for the speakers were expensive, the DARLA officers decided to train me and Joy Padrones (the fee for such training were being paid by the Org.) for us to be the speakers for October 20. Anyway, it was Almera Alasan who taught us how to make some nice candles where she herself make some money out of it by making giveaways for birthdays and weddings and displaying her work at KetKai and Gaisano too. Here's a glimpse of the said activity though we were not able to take pictures of our finished products (*sighs) and some samples of cartoon character candles. After the Candle Making Activity, reflexology followed. I'll probably post pics on the reflexology part :) Depende :)

First Year Anniversary in the Department of Agrarian Reform :)

We celebrated our First Year Anniversary working in the Department of Agrarian Reform last October 17, 2006 !
It started with a suggestion early in the morning while the four of us (Moi, Joy, Hazel and Zarah) were discussing about making candles in the house in preparation for the upcoming DARLA Candle Making activity then we end up reminiscing our experiences in DAR , until we finally decided to make candles and celebrate at the same time our one year anniversary in the government service. Anyway, in the end, we were not able to make candles for we were bloated! If at that moment we will be charged with gluttony, we will definitely be guilty as charged!

The pictures taken here were kinda' dark and I don't have much time editing it so just settle with what you can see... hehehehehehe

We have palabok (gawa ko!). vegetable salad (gawa ko rin :), barbecue, junk foods, fruits with coke and Juice :)

Just last September 30, 2006, we fetched the cuzin of Arnel in Cagayan de Oro City, that's Christian Yap or Habz :) It's been a month now that he stayed with us and Miguel truly enjoyed his presence for he finally got a playmate while Arnel and moi is in the office... Habz is still learning the life here in Malaybalay where the hustles and bustles of life in Manila don't exist hehehehe. For one, he finally got the habit of sleeping early like around 9:oo to 10:00 in the evening... and waking up early in the morning that's around 6:00 to 7:00 in the morning. Anyway, just in case you or your friends might be interested, he's single and available hehehehhehe binenta ba naman :)

MARYWOOD'S 5TH FOUNDATION DAY

Last October 7, 2006, Marywoods, the school of my lil' bhoy celebrated its 5th foundation Day.
The parents were really excited, and that includes me! I can't seem to imagine my super energetic son would be able to dance in the stage. And Bhoy! was I in for a surprise... siya pa nga ang nagpaharap as if he really knows the Ifugao dance which was the Toddlers presentation. He seemed oblivious with the people watching him, he didn't care at all basta siya nag enjoy siya sa kakasayaw sa stage hehehehe...
Anyway, we started the event with a motorcade then the program proper. After the student's presentation, the parent's presentation came next. Mas bongga din yung presentation ng ibang parents. To the point na talagang kumuha ng trainor hehehehe... Anyway, after the presentation, we had a group lunch at School according to the childs level in school. For the Toddler parents we had lechon and so are the rest of the Level's... considering na sa amo mga 16 parents lang ang present. Anyway, the affair was expensive on the parentd's side but what the heck! at least my son was having the time of his life and was proud to say "Ang galing ko no! sumayaw ako sa stage hindi ako tumakbo!" hehehehehehe... anyway if you are interested to see the pictures of the said event just visit my site at http://aqmq1317.multiply.com.

I've posted about my birthday at Multiply but it can't be seen here in blogger so I guess I have to make a new one hehehehe... Here are some pictures taken during my 29th birthday last September 8, 2006 and at the same time the fiesta of Impalambong, Malaybalay City. Most of this pictures were taken after all the visitors went home coz' the owner of the camera came kinda' late already (thanks to Tabing! hehehehehe)... I forgot her new family name now :) Yeah she got married this year...

Reminiscing High Scool Days...

Haaaay... can't help but reminisce life in High School. I had a group then called LES FILLES, it's a french word which means THE GIRLS.
The members: Teray, Alele, Venessa, Emajane, Noreen, Meriden, Kate, Jayeruth and MOI
Our Motto: " If you've got it, flaunt it!".
Our Color: we chose purple from Sweet Valley High which signifies royalty I guess. I even remembered we had same purple folders then. Hahahahahaha

Although after high school we choose different courses and fields and studied in different schools we still managed to communicate and hang out once in a while. It was really a friendship that no distance and time could hinder. ;)

Last Sunday August 20, 2006 Arnel, Migs and Moi went to Impasug-ong to celebrate Addy Rumbaoa's Third birthday (Only child of Alele and Robert). It was a long ride good thing my parents lend us their car hehehehehe. (Thanks Ma at Pa!)

Oh geez looking at the picture reminds me again of coffee and milk. Heheheheheh halos dili na me makit-an ni Arnel sa picture. Is there something wrong with Roberts cam? Hahahahahah... Nah! that's our natural color good pair huh? *grinz.

Robert and Alele has settled in Davao where Roberts work is based. Al decided to be a full time mom ... for now... while Robert works in APL... an International Cargo Forwarder.

The other pics was Robert, Alele and Addy with the Garcia's family - Cocoy, Bing and Brax. They arrived later in the afternoon for they still have to atthend a make up class for their Masteral Degree Course in Cagayan de Oro :)

I got busy these days with work that's why my blog is not updated... not an excuse really but I have no other excuse but that! hehehehehe... Newey, I'm just happy for my friend Teray who finally gave birth last August 13,2 006 to a healthy 8 pounder baby boy :) I can't seem to imagine though how baby Vaughn was able to fit in her mother's womb who is so cute :) Teray who works in Disney and Mark who works in a bank... geez I forgot where though... comment na lang Teray for more info... is now a proud parents! I'm not really a big fan of Claire Cabiguin, One of the Big Four of the Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition. I just wish to share this photo taken last... uh-huh I forgot the date... at Tabing's Residence when the Montana's invited the Cabiguin's family for a dinner. I'm just happy for our Yaya's so star strucked by Claire's Presence hehehehehe. Oh I just realized she used to be under one of my recollections while I was still in San Isidro College as Campus Minister. As a last message? I just wish her luck in her career :)

Our Impalambong's Residence and at the same time Boarding House :)

I grew up in this house for almost 20 years :) My husband and I occupied the lower left portion of the house so that we can give way for our Boarders. Anyway, for this Semester we are blessed with 28 boarders, 25 of these are all College gurls and the rest? 1 gay, 1 High School lad and 1 Cuzin of our old boarder. So just imagine how fully packed this house is! It's tough especially when it comes to dealing with their attitudes and lifestyles, but we're doing ok. Just last year we ejected 5 boarders coz' of attitude problem. Anyway, as for this semester, it's not that tough yet for most of them are first year students.

As promised, here is the finished product of our own made sofa. We painted our house, we made our own sofa, and I made that curtain! Oh in addition to that, it's my husband who do all the electrical problems, the plumbing and the carpentry with our help. Hehehehe, ganyan talaga pag-nagtitipid kayang gawin ang lahat! Mahal din kaya ang labor!

I just want to share this mirror my husband and I bought. I just find it beautiful and its only P500.00.

I haven't taken pix on other areas of the house coz' we're still fixing it hehehehehehehe.

This used to be the freedom park before... I don't what it's called now but it has now a tennis court, badminton court, table tennis area and an assembly area for big activities of the City Government.

While I was doing my job as a liason officer (layas officer that is...) I took a pix of the following ...

Lots of fond memories here :) Cheering practices during high school days, the Kaamulan Festival, Got knocked down while trying to learn rollerblades, learning how to drive using our Volkswagen car, dating with friends (u-huh...), CAT Training and jogging while trying to lose some weight when I was still 140pounds then after which we went straight to EMS Fastfood and eat our hearts out! hahahaha...

The 1999 batch mentioned something about our batch and their batch as the sponsor for the Disco. Geez, whatever! :) I'm sure the 1998 batch will gather it's force once that event would arrive... you know, it's just a text away! hehehehe.

It's been ages since I posted huh :) Life has been so busy these past few days.
We just ended our CARP Anniversary Sportsfest at Cagayan de Oro last June 19 - 21, 2006.
We lost some and win some but what's important was the fun and the adventure :)

We went home happy kahit di kami nanalo sa volleyball hehehehehe but ended up in the hospital for almost 6 days coz our bhoy got sick! The doctor said it was tonsilitis until she mentioned there are also signs of typhoid.. oh well sometimes it's so hard to trust doctors these days... Just that week (end of June) two people of Malaybalay died. Charissa the younger sis of Beza Estrada and Sir Andig, the loyal professor and jack of all trade of San Isidro College. It was a sad week and all we can offer was to pray for the souls of these two people who deserves to be prayed in their own little way.

Anyway, here's a glimpse of the sofa my husband and I made from scratch :) Of course with the help of our yaya's :) It's not that perfectly done but still were so proud of it coz' we made it ourselves without even knowing the basics on how to make it hehehehe...

May dinagdag pa kami na malaking foam sa middle nyan but I wasn't able to take a picture of it kaya eto muna :)

Time to Heat Up!

It's the 30th anniversary of CARP (Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program) this June. This means time to compete with the other DAR Provincial offices in sports in Cagayan de Oro City. We're busy preparing for the said activity, as our Chief mentioned this morning, we will not be going to CDO to participate but we will be going to WIN. Tough huh? too much pressure on the players hehehehe. Honestly, I'm still having trouble where to put myself coz they will let me and my husband play in almost every sports including patintero hahahahaha. Arnel and moi were assigned to play in Table Tennis, Badminton, Volleyball and Basketball for my husband. Ewan, whatever will be will be :) Just last week my whole body ached 'coz we started practicing badminton for almost 3 hours non-stop after many many months of not exercising. Anyway, I'm just excited for the said activity!

Miguel will be going to school this June as Toddler or Kinder 3 . After a lot of thingking and choosing Arnel and I decided to enroll him at MaryWoods. It's kinda' expensive but what the heck! Isulit na namin habang isa pa ang anak na pwedeng paggastusan hehehehe... I checked the school and I like their program to Toddlers. What's important is for our son to enjoy school and not hate it for the rest of his life hehehehe. Lola Prescy promised to help us a little with the Monthly Fees that is if she will already received her pension in SSS hehehehe... newey I'm sure money will just come when needed. moi!

THE BIG FOUR OF DAR BUKIDNON :)

Me and my co-newly hired employees of Dar Bukidnon. We were hired last October 2005 and hoping to have more years in the agency... if hindi matuloy yung gusto ni Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago na i-abolish totally ang DAR by year 2008 hahahahahaha....

This is Hazel Abalorio - married and with one child hoping to add one this year hee hee hee.... Ok, I forgot her history of jobs but she is now one of the secretaries of the Head of our Agency. She's laughs a lot and definitely sweet :) She adores her child and misses her husband who works in Cebu.

This is Zarah Lucman - also married and has two children and again... hoping to add one this year ;) She is married to Aludhin Lucman who is also our co-employee here in DAR. Zarah is the secretary of the head of PARCCOM office. She's good in Tennis :)

This is Joy Padrones - the youngest and the only single of the four. She's assigned at the Operation Department. She's on a relationship and hoping to get hooked this year... hehehehe I just presumed ok :) She's intelligent and kewl :)

I've been deprived from the net for almost 2 weeks now (shheeeesh... the monitor of the computer I've been using suddenly just... kablam! as in boom! hahahaha). Anyway now that I'm back I have lots of catching up to do.

It's friday today and it's HATAW DAY in our office. Meaning, we can play any sports we want. I've been learning how to play tennis and so far I see NO improvements hahaha... it's a good thing we have a tennis lawn just right in front of our office so we don't need to get out unlike some who prefers to play badminton. Don't get me wrong :) I love to play badminton but I don't want to go out during office hour and I don't have my own racket yet mao samot di ko ganahan. My husband brought his two worn-out tennis rackets all the way from Manila (from his Dad who plays even in Riyadh). hehehehehe...

Newez, almost everybody in the Admin and Finance Division went to CDO to pass their accounting reports in the Dar Regional Office mao mingaw kaayo ron dire. As in out of 10 personnel there are only 3 of us left.
Oh geez, have to go to GSIS to submit some loans by our employee! Bye fo r now!

I don't have anything in mind right now except that it's Holy Week...
My Husband and I had our recollection last weekend at Carmelites with Sr. John Paul as our speaker.
So refreshing and kinda' miss having one of those silent moments...
We still planned of going to confession at least before Easter and we will be celebrating Easter with the rest of the community. I'm so sure my son will enjoy it... Easter Egg Hunt, foods, the children shows, meeting new kids and running! hehehehe. Haaayyy... we have a long vacation ahead of us and time for us to reflect on the death of Christ and the meaning behind it all. Hey! maybe I should start forgiving those who trespass against me?... well see what miracle will happen this weekend :)

Long Lost Friends in High School :)

Look guys! It's Jayeruth Enriquez (uh-huh I chose to forget her husbands family name... selected amnesia hehehehe :), you know Jaye... as in Jaye the ballet dancer, Jaye the Mysterious Gurl, Jaye the Manila gurl. Hehehehe... She actually showed up when I beg her we should meet at my in-laws house during our vacation in Manila. Take Note... she lived in Marikina and my in-laws house is in Novaliches, just imagine the traffic! I have to thank her for
that! That's why I could not say no when she asked a favor to bring the pasalubong for her kids in Malaybalay kahit na super excess na ang bagage namin pauwi... At least I owe that to her! Anyway, it was more fun for Arnel and Moi seeing her kids sooooo happy with all the stuff she gave.

Now, this is Emajane Tamon (don't need to change her family name, still single till now :) As in Emajane the Englisera, Emajane the Taray, Emajane the Engineer and Emajane the Payat. Hehehehe. Gosh! She is sooooooooo thin... as in the very essence of the word ---- THIN, PAYAT, BUTO name it! She's having fun in Manila as a Civil Engineer, dealing with boys in the field hehehehehe. I also have to thank her for coming way over to Novaliches from Makati... she arrived almost 11:00 in the evening. She and her friend.. sorry I forgot her name... stayed until 3 a.m at sumama na sa paghatid sa amin sa airport going back to Bukidnon :) Way to go Les Filles! Remember, if you've got it, Flaunt it! Hehehehehehehe....

Cute huh? Oh well my boss is somewhere else right now so no papers to route and no memos to encode and nothing to do in short.... hehehehe... So I end up experimenting things here in the net. Gosh! I just realize I am actually a computer science stude (after 8 years huh? ngayon ko pa na realize hahahahaha) and I hate to admit it but I actually miss doing stuff related to my course. Haay.. ewan sa dami ng trabaho na napagdaanan ko at sa daming nangyari sa buhay ko after 8 years at sa daming pinag-aralan ko, litong-lito na tuloy ako hehehehehe... But anyway ang bilis ng panahon at ang anak ko na ang mag-aaral..

Oh Geeze... gotta jet! coz my college classmates are enjoying this conference at yahoo gotta join them to update myself about their life!

MY SON TURNED 3!

Mig-Mig just turned 3 years old last March 11, 2006. We celebrated it in a practical way as it is... Lola Precy and Lolo Bert decided to treat their apo including us of course at Chowking Valencia. We didn't have all that fuss of baby birthday celebrations 'coz Arnel thought it was impractical... saka na lang daw pag maintindihan na ng bata. I reacted at first... you know moms... but still my husband's judgement over the matter won hehehehe... at least we were excused from spending too much (Lolo and Lola did... *grinz) and excused from all the works ... hehehehehe.... Newey we still had a blast! We decided after eating to join the 1st birthday celebration of a relative. BUSOG pag dating ng gabi!

Meet My Beloved In-Laws :)

The bunsos in the house with my mother in-law. Mama Nelia has been a very supportive and loving mother in-law. So who says In-Laws sucks? I couldn't say that with my own experience. I really felt the love and the warmth and the welcome with my in-laws. Thanks a lot for that!

This photo was taken at my in-laws house in Novaliches, Quezon City during our visit last February 2006. Lolo George only came home once a year for he worked in Riyadh. Arnel and I decided to have our vacation not on December last year but on the time Papa George came home... at least my parents would also have company during Christmas... Not on the pix are the guys in the family, thats Khris who is in Dubai right now and Arnel :) Now I know it's so kewl to have sisters in the house coz I get to have that priviledge of sharing my stuff with them and vice versa... pero mas marami silang naibibigay sa akin kasi ang dami nila kasama pa dun si Mama Nelia hehehe. But of course I get the same experience then with the Flores Family who was then my neighbor in Impalambong and a very close friend with my family...even until now that they're living is States they still share their blessings with me :) O diba kahit ala akong kapatid pero ang dami ko pa ring kapatid ngayon... hmmm... confusing... basta yun na yun :) Anyway I always love having my vacation with my In-Laws. I always look forward to it... but probably next year sila na naman ang pupunta dito sa Bukidnon... :)

That's my baby boy sleeping! I couldn't just imagine how this big baby boy came from my tummy... and now he is sooo super kulit and so super daldal... just like me I guess hehehe.

He just had a fever 3 days ago coz of playing basketball in our backyard even if its drizzling... he just loves to play as if nothing is more important in this world than playing... kakainggit noh? alng ka probleproblema sa mundo kundi kumain maglaro at matulog tapos kumain uli, laro uli tapos tulog uli... wish life is like that... but I guess as we grow older the more responsibilities we have to face and the more puzzles we have to solve in life... haaay sarap maging bata uli...

Nothing to do and Got paid for it!

I've been working as a Government Employee for almost five months now and bhoy!... Not that I don't like all the benefits I've received so far... it's just that I'm not used to being paid and don't even sweat on it :) Hey! who am I to complain? I've been working in a private company since I graduated... so that's from year 1998 til 2005... they kill us with work and paid us less. I guess I deserve this break hehehehehe...

Newey so much about the fuss of work! That's my big baby boy on the pix. Take note... we were just asking the owner of that jeep to have my baby take a picture with it but guess what Migs did? He found the key and turned it on! It almost run! good thing is he immediately released the key... whew! Gotta JET! it's 5 already!

MARCH 20, 2006 (MONDAY)

This picture was taken 3 weeks ago at our house in Impalambong (sayop nang nakabutang na date sa pix hehehe).

We painted it ourselves ala pinoy big brother hauz and it was fun! Maka stiff-neck lang especially the ceiling part. Sala pa lang lagi ang nahuman kay mao pa man amo ma afford. Hopefully soon pag luwag luwag na sad :)

My boy has just turned 3 years old last March 11. Sobrang kulit! He loves rollerblading (kabalo na as in!), dili na ko katan-aw ug t.v coz sige sila dula sa iyang papa ug PS 2. Got no choice but to watch them play! usahay mag-apil-apil sad ko but not an avid fun really!

My baby love cars! blame that to his father who is an avid fan of that schummacher thing! though he loves alonzo more than Schummi (si arnel that is). I thought Miguel (that's my baby's name!) could not talk but whoa! now he talks a lot ug daw sige lang ug pangutana na usahay makaulit na. hehehehe... newey dire na lang sa uy... bye for now everyone!
